License & attribution
Insigne Slider is free for any use — personal, commercial, client work, SaaS — on one condition: a visible credit to sadiksefa.dev.
The credit
By default a small line appears under each slider: Slider by sadiksefa.dev, linking to the author's site. It adapts to light and dark pages and takes about 24 px.
You can choose how to give credit:
credit | What is shown |
|---|---|
"below" (default) | The credit line under the slider. creditAlign: end, start, center. |
"inside" | A small badge in a corner of the slider. |
"page" | Nothing on the slider, because your page already shows a visible link to sadiksefa.dev or sadiksefa.com.tr — for example in the footer — or another slider on the page shows its credit (useful for thumbnail strips). |
<!-- credit="page": no badge under the slider, because the footer already links to sadiksefa.dev. -->
<insigne-slider credit="page" height="220">
<div><img data-bg src="https://picsum.photos/id/1018/1200/600" alt=""></div>
<div><img data-bg src="https://picsum.photos/id/1036/1200/600" alt=""></div>
</insigne-slider>
<footer style="margin-top:24px;font:13px system-ui;color:#6b6860">

</footer>If the credit is hidden
The slider checks that the credit (or the page link) is really visible: its size, display, visibility, opacity, filters, clipping, off-screen positioning and other elements covering it. Checks run a few times after load and after relevant page changes, never while the slider itself is hidden (closed tab panels, collapsed sections, reveal animations).
When the credit is missing or hidden twice in a row, a watermark appears over the slides and the console explains why and how to fix it. Make the credit visible again and the watermark disappears.
Removing the credit
A domain license key removes the credit requirement for the domains it was issued for:
<insigne-slider license="ISL1.…">Keys are verified in the browser with a public key — no request is ever made. To get a key for your domains, contact sadiksefa.dev.
